Periodic inspections are required to monitor the condition of your assets and to enable the early detection of defects that could otherwise lead to failure or loss. Our equipment enables us to offer a cost effective inspection service which would otherwise need to be conducted by a dive team or require draining or dry-docking.

The AC-ROV is small and versatile. It can be deployed in minutes without the need for lifting equipment and can be flown by a single operator. With 6 thrusters enabling 5 degrees of freedom, the AC-ROV can move, rotate and tilt in any direction, even in a current - essential for a comprehensive inspection. The AC-ROV can work in depths of up to 75m and can travel through 190mm diameter openings into areas which would otherwise be inaccessible. The AC-ROV’s 100m tether gives the ROV pilot considerable scope to inspect remote assets from a single point of deployment.

Lightweight and Mobile

Our equipment allows for rapid deployment at remote sites, enabling our clients to quickly identify potential/existing threats before disaster strikes. Our service allows for minimal disruption, with a one or two man team working on a small footprint while at the same time keeping the system to be inspected in operation. All of our equipment can be surfaced in seconds in case of an emergency.

Low Light Poor Visibility Capability

The 550 line x 0.1lux colour and 480 line 0.05lux black/white cameras are specially selected for low-light underwater applications. The four cluster LEDs of variable intensity help to optimise clarity in low visibility environments. Video footage is displayed on a LCD monitor and can be recorded onto laptop hard-drive and/or DVD. A video overlay indicating date, time and depth is displayed and recorded, if required.

Our pole-mounted waterproof video camera system allows for immediate inspection in areas where health, safety and accessibility issues are apparent. A fully portable device, the 1.5-4.5m adjustable pole will allow for detailed inspection of various surface and underwater applications, especially those in confined spaces.

Ideal for storage tank, harbour wall, yacht hull/propeller and other shallow depth inspections, this service will prove invaluable in verifying the condition of your underwater or confined space assets.
